Chris Evans joined Newbridge in June 2020, having spent 10 years at Lloyds Bank where he helped develop their Debt Capital Markets franchise, leading transactions across multiple geographies, sectors and currencies.

Chris’s area of expertise is Social Housing where he has led various public bond transactions for debut and repeat borrowers, as well as Taps, MTNs and Private Placements. Chris also has experience in the establishment of Programme debt, to assist frequent and nimble access to the Capital Markets, as well as arranging funding linked to Environmental, Social & Governance (“ESG”) principles.

Chris is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and has a qualification in ESG Investing (CFA UK Level 4 Certificate).


Newbridge’s Partner for Regeneration and Development, will be co-chairing a panel at UKREiiF in Leeds to explore what has been accomplished so far at Meridian Water in Enfield.

Newbridge’s Regeneration and Development Team is advising Enfield Council on the procurement of a development partner to deliver up to 600 new homes at Meridian 13.

Newbridge chaired a roundtable between housing associations and three leading funders to explore the potential positive impact of SLLs in the social housing sector.
