The new Government is encouraging private investment in infrastructure and this paper is intended to offer some ideas on how this might be done, trying to learn from past mistakes.
The issue is how social infrastructure investment might be funded. There is a large amount of private sector money available to invest in UK infrastructure and institutions are keen to mobilise these funds. To enable this, a new investment partnership model needs to be built from the ground up.
This paper aims to challenge and shape a new partnership model that could provide a new infrastructure delivery framework.
