Newbridge are delighted to publish the results of our research project into the use of Sustainability-Linked Loans (SLLs) in the social housing sector.

This report analyses the strengths and weaknesses of SLLs on the basis of evidence from both sides of the lending arrangement, and makes a series of recommendations to enhance the product and green financing market for all parties.

This publication has been prepared on the basis of 28 responses from housing associations and 6 from lenders to widely disseminated surveys, along with interviews with a number of survey respondents and desktop research.

We thank all participants and contributors for their valuable input.

If you would like to get in touch to discuss the results, implementation of recommendations or your own research requirements, please contact sustainability@newbridge.co.uk.
