Newbridge client Mutual Energy Preferred Applicant for Gas to the West Project
November 18, 2014On 18th November 2014, the Utility Regulator in Northern Ireland announced the selection of Mutual Energy, (the owner of the Moyle Interconnector, Premier Transmission and Belfast Gas Transmission) as the Preferred Applicant for the Gas to the West Project. The project is an extension of the Gas network in Northern Ireland to Dungannon, Cookstown, Enniskillian, Omagh and Strabane.
Newbridge Advisors, jointly with Centrus Advisors, is financial advisor to Mutual Energy and has supported the company in the development of its financial and commercial strategy during the last 12 months. The company is expected to secure a long term financing for the asset on completion of construction.
