Newbridge Advises on 2nd Salford & Wigan BSF Refinancing
May 12, 2017Newbridge advised HICL, Salford City Council and BSFI LLP on the refinancing of the senior debt in the Salford & Wigan BSF Phase 1 Refinancing. Nord LB and BTMU provided the refinanced senior debt.
The project involves the design, construction, financing and maintenance of 2 new secondary schools in Salford in Greater Manchester.
This refinancing is another success story for PFI, demonstrating how savings can be made through all parties working together to take advantage to improved funding market conditions.
