Newbridge advises JLIF on Kirklees Housing refinancing
March 4, 2016Newbridge advised John Laing Infrastructure Fund on the refinancing of the senior debt in the Kirklees Social Housing PFI. BTMU and Nord LB provided the senior debt which was previously provided by Nord LB and Nationwide.
JLIF owns 100% of the project which involves the design, construction, financing and maintenance of 466 new rented housing units across the Kirklees Council’s borough in West Yorkshire.
This refinancing is a success story for PFI, demonstrating how savings can be made through all parties working together to take advantage to improved funding market
